H.E. Dimmick Rifle

by J. Bergman

in .54 caliber

This rifle was made by John Bergman. It is a very nice copy of a typical Dimmick rifle.

The barrel is a straight tapered 32" long. It tapers from 1 1/8" at the breech to 1 1/16" at the muzzle. It has a hook breech with two wedges. The stock is a very nice piece of curly maple sporting a pewter nosecap. The lock and capbox show casehardened colors and the rest of the steel is lightly browned. The double set triggers can be fired set or unset. The fit and finish on this rifle is excellent. The gun has been fired but is in excellent condition inside and out. Check out the pictures and see what a nice rifle this really is.
