This rifle I made many years ago by Don Greene of Staunton, VA. It has been fired a few times but it
has been well maintained and looks new.
It has a 40" x
⅞" barrel in .40 caliber. Don would buy
barrel blanks and rifle them himself to get the best accuracy for each caliber. The stock is a nice piece of curly maple.
The sliding wood patchbox opens by pressing the button in the recess on the lid. The
lock is a large Siler. The hardware is iron.
The gun holds and points well. Balance point is at the rear thimble. The pictures will tell you more.
Weight is 9 lbs 9 ozs. Pull is 14" |
