Izhevsk Arsenal Dated 1943
This is an very nice
WW2 rifle with about 99+% blue left. All numbers match
except the bayonet. Typical post WW2 arsenal refurbish and
has not been fired since leaving the arsenal. This one is
typical of the late war guns with the round receiver and a
rougher finish to the metal.
The stock is very clean with almost no
dents or dings just a bit of flaking of the varnish. It does
have the usual wood refurbish stamp in the right side. The
bolt is still bright. The bore is excellent with deep
grooves and bright shine (looks better than the photos show). The muzzle is not counterbored.
From looking at the face of the bolt and the magazine
follower, this rifle doesn't appear to have been fired since
it left the arsenal. Comes with the original accessories
shown which include the sling, double ammo pouch and oil bottle.
This is rifle is from my personal
collection. Thinning out the herd a bit.
Overall an excellent example and would
make a great shooter or addition to any collection.
The pictures will tell you more.
