Early Virginia Style Rifle

.54 cal

This is a custom made gun by Matt Avance of Tenn. Valley Manufacturing.

It has a 38" swamped Rice barrel in .54 caliber with 1-66 rifling and a White Lightening touch hole liner. The lock is a Chamber's Deluxe large Siler. The stock is a nice piece of curly maple with figure from front to back. The hardware is steel that has been browned. Nice double set triggers that fire set or unset. There is a touch hole pick inlay below the cheek as well. There are no gaps in the inletting. Well made and solid.

The gun was shot only about 50 times. It balances and holds very well.

Weight is 7 lbs. 13 oz.  Pull is 13".
