Type G Painted Trade Gun

in 24 gauge

This is a new, unfired Type G built from one of my kits. The maple stock has been painted oxide red and then waxed with black shoe polish to "dirty" it up a bit. The Rice barrel is 46" long in 24 gauge (.58 cal.) There is a touch hole liner. It also has the proof and maker's stamps at the breech. The lock is a Davis Early Colonial. The barrel and lock have been blued.

Weight is 6 lbs. 7 oz.  Pull is 13".
