Lancaster Style Rifle

by W. Trout

in .50 caliber

This is a well done Lancaster style rifle by Wayne Trout. It is styled after an original by Isaac Haines.

The wood is curly maple with lots of nicely done raised carving. The barrel is by Getz and is a swamped 44" long in .50 caliber. The lock is by Chambers. The trigger guard and buttplate were purchased but the other brass parts and the trigger were all made by Wayne.

The rifle holds well and is balances nicely in the forward hand. It is unfired and the rear sight is not notched so the new owner can cut it to fit their vision.

Weight is 9 lbs. Pull is 14"
