Pedersoli Brown Bess

De-Farbed and Correctly Stamped

in .75 caliber smoothbore

This is a Pedersoli Brown Bess that has been made period correct. The barrel has had the manufacturer's markings removed and the correct proof marks have been stamped. The lock has had the date removed and just marked "TOWER" as is correct for a 2nd model and the crown and arrow has been stamped under the pan. The beautiful walnut stock has been stamped with the store keepers mark on the right side and the inspectors marks behind the guard. This gun is new and never fired. The beech plug is bright and shiny. There was some surface rust on the lock when I got it which has been cleaned but it left some light pitting under the pan. There are also a couple of minor scratches in the wood from handling.
