Moravian School Rifle

by K. Moors in .54 caliber

Another exceptional rifle by Ken Moors of N.C.

This rifle is styled after an original that came out of the Christian Springs shop near Nazareth, PA area and would date to just prior to the Revolution. The gun is stocked on a nice piece of curly maple that has a hand rubbed oil finish and has been aged. The barrel is by Colerain and is a swamped 44" long in .54 caliber and has been nicely aged as well. The lock is a Chambers Early Ketland style. The mounts are all brass and have been beautifully engraved and aged. Very well balanced and points extremely well. The fit and finish is excellent. Always glad to get one of Ken's pieces for sale. He does exceptional work for a reasonable price.

Weight 9 lbs. 3 ozs. Pull is 14".
