Bethlehem, PA Rifle

by W. Trout in .50 caliber

This is a very nice rifle by Wayne Trout. It is based on the well known brass barreled rifle that was made in the Moravian shop in Bethlehem Penn. The barrel is custom made by Ed Rayl and is profiled from the original brass one. It is a swamped .50 caliber octagonal and is 45" long. The stock is a nice piece of curly maple that has been aged. The lock is a Chamber's Early Ketland. The mounts are brass that have been aged. Very well balanced and points extremely well. The fit and finish is very well done. Nice F&I and Rev War period rifle.

Weight is 8 lbs. 8 oz. Length of pull is 14".
