This is a very nice English styled pistol. The
7" long barrel is 1" at the breech and tapers to
⅞" at the muzzle and is .58 caliber. The
barrel is a cutoff from a Rice rifle barrel and was too nice to scrap. It has a
slow twist but will be very accurate out to 25-35 yards. The stock is a
extremely nice piece of hard burled maple with steel hardware. The period style
checkering covers the entire grip and has steel pins in the spaces. The
checkering took 3 days and 5 feet of wire to accomplish. The nosecap is cast
pewter. The lock is by L&R. The guard, trigger and trigger plate are off of an
original English pistol. The guard has plenty of room for a gloved finger. The steel parts have been
engraved and blued. This is a new pistol and has not been fired.
Weight is 1 lbs. 15 ozs.
