M1 Springfield Garand (CMP)

Receiver made 12-57 Barrel dated 4-56

Rare Last Month of Production

in .30-06

This is a very nice end of production Springfield M1. The receiver was made 12-57 and the barrel is dated 7-41. The parkerizing is 99% with the only wear being on the tip of the charging handle, the top of the sight ears and the buttplate. DOD stamp is poorly struck with the lower half showing well but the upper half is faint. Overall the wood is very good with just minor dents and dings. There is a painted rack number on the grip. Original cleaning kit in the stock. Original post WW2 leather sling. All parts and drawing numbers are correct for this build. Bore is about 9+/10. Bore wear measures 1 at the muzzle and 0 at the chamber. There are no import marks.

Overall a very nice unique rifle. This would be an excellent addition to any WW2 collection.

The pictures will tell you more.
