This is a beautiful well made custom rifle in the Moravian/Bethlehem PA styling.
Having a sliding wood patchbox would date this gun to the 1750-1770 period.
The stock is a nice piece of curly maple that has been distressed and aged. The lock is a Chamber's
Early Ketland style.
Mounts are brass and have very well executed engraving and an aged finish. The barrel
42" swamped Rice in .54 caliber with some "aging" to the finish.
Overall a well made and beautiful gun. The gun is new and unfired.
The rifle balances and holds very well.
Weight is 9 lbs. Pull is 13¾".
