Early Longrifle Rifle

by Tim Williams

 42" barrel in .45 caliber

This is a nice slender little rifle made by Tim Williams. It is lightly used but in like new condition. Tim is not taking custom orders right now so this is a chance to get one without the wait.

It is stocked in a very nice piece of curly maple with raised and incised carving. The lock is a Chamber's large Siler. The barrel is swamped 42" long and in .45 caliber. I haven't pulled the barrel but it is most likely made by Rice Barrels. It has a touch hole liner. The guard and buttplate are commercial castings but the rest of the brass parts are handmade by Tim. The inlets are very tight and styling is very clean. Overall a very nice, well made rifle.

Weight is 8 lbs. 3 ozs.  Pull is 13¼".
