Southern Germanic Jaeger Rifle

in .58 caliber

This rifle was copied from an original rifle the customer saw pictured in a magazine article and wanted one like it. The barrel is by Colerain. It is a swamped D weight .58 caliber octagonal and is 31" long. The rear sight has a folding leaf for two set distances when sighting. The stock is a nice piece of highly figured European walnut that has been lightly stained and aged. The iron hardware was cast off of an original gun. The nosecap and ramrod tip are black horn. The lock is a Chamber's Early Germanic style which has been reworked into a round faced southern Germanic style.

Weight is 8 lbs. 3 oz. Length of pull is 14".
