Early Christian Springs Rifle

circa 1760

in .54 caliber

This is a Christian Springs rifle that Ken Moors and I finished out together. I did the assembly, the cheek inlay and the carving behind the cheek. Ken did the rest of the carving and finished it out doing his aged effect which came out great.

This rifle is stocked in curly maple with a wood patchbox. The barrel is a Colerain 37" 'D' weight .54 caliber. All brass mounts. This is a very well balanced and comfortable gun to shoot.
