Canteen Very
nice handmade canteen by Bill Rupert of Buzzard's
Nest Leatherworks. These were sold at The Prentice
Store in Colonial Williamsburg. Made of heavy
leather, hand stitched and lined with brewer's
pitch. Wooden stopper. Measures 9" deep, 7" tall and
8" wide. Will hold almost a gallon of whatever you
drink. Safe for most liquids.

Measures 5" across the outside
curve. Nicely engraved with flat pine plugs.

Hand Forged
Hammer Poll Axe
Nice camp axe.
Hand forged of iron with a steel cutting edge. Measures about
7½" long
with a 3½"
edge. Handle is 20" long and made of hickory. Weighs
3 lbs 4 ozs. Not sure who made this one as there are
no maker's marks.

Large Forged
Hammer Poll Axe
This appears to be an
original axe. Very nice with moderate surface
pitting that has been cleaned. This is from the
Spain collection and Bill would use this one for
splitting wood at camp. Handle is 34¾"
lone. Head is 9¾" long with a 6½" cutting edge.
Weight is 5 lb. 12 oz.
