Vine Painted Trade Gun

This gun is a typical English style from the mid 18th century. The brass mounts were all copied from original pieces. It has been painted oxide red and over painted with vines similar to the Bumford trade gun. The barrel is by Rice and is 48" long, octagon to round. The lock is by Davis. It is correctly marked with 'London' on the top of the barrel and View, Proof and barrel maker's stamps on the side flat.

 

Weight is 6½ lbs. and the length of pull is 13 ½".
