This gun is a typical English style from the mid 18th century. The brass mounts
were all
copied from original pieces.
The barrel is by Rice and is 48" long, octagon to round, and can be cut to
any length if you want a shorter barrel. The lock
is by Davis. It is correctly marked with 'London'
on the top of the barrel and View, Proof and barrel maker's stamps on the side
flat.
Weight is 7 lbs. with the 48" barrel and the length of pull is 13 ¾".
