Trade Gun or Carolina Gun

The gun below was copied from one in the Colonial Williamsburg collection that was made by Bumford in London circa 1750-1760. It has a 48" barrel in 24 gauge and is stocked in beech as was the original.  This particular one was made for Wes Studi the actor famous for his role as Magua in "Last of the Mohicans" as well as many other great roles. The pouch and horn pictured were made for him as well. The pouch is made of brain tanned deer skin.
