This rifle is my personal gun and was styled after one made in the James River Basin area. The original is engraved on the sideplate with the name 'Johanes Faber' which was probably the owner. A fowler by the same hand survives but has a different name engraved on it's sideplate.

The rifle shown has a 44" by .54 caliber wrought iron barrel that I forged and a Chamber's lock. All of the other parts were hand made in my shop. I slightly aged it including the addition of a wear plate on the bottom of the forend. It weighs 9 1/2 lbs.
