This one is a rifle I made for my wife, Debbie as an engagement present. It was featured in the Sept/Oct 2008 issue of Muzzle Loader magazine in which she wrote an article entitled "The Rules of Engagement". Needless to say, she is very pleased with it and yes, she does shoot it. This rifle is stocked in figured walnut and is mounted in sterling silver. The star on the cheek is made of ivory and black horn. The lock and barrel are commercial, everything else is hand made. The barrel is a very light weight tapered and flared 40" length in .40 caliber by Ed Rayl. Total weight is 6 lbs.
